TOTALogistix Names New Information Systems Manager

TOTALogistix is proud to announce the appointment of Krishnan Pazhayanoor to the position of Information Systems Manager. 

Kris comes to TOTALogistix from Texas Tech University, where he was a Programmer/Analyst for Academic Support Services.   He holds a Masters Degree in Computer Science from Texas Tech, and represented the University in the prestigious ACM Annual Programming Contests at both Louisiana State University and the University of Colorado.

"Kris is an extremely bright guy and graduated with a 4.0 GPA from Texas Tech, but I’m most impressed with his understanding of the vital role information plays in supply chain management,” said Kirk Shearer, President & COO of TOTALogistix.

"While cost reduction has always been the driving force in logistics improvement, information management is quickly becoming just as important as the industry continues to evolve,” said Mr. Shearer.

"IT is more about information than it is about technology,” notes Kris.  “Supply chains have become longer and more fragmented.  The complex nature of global sourcing, inventory management and order fulfillment for instance, requires that management systems converge toward single-source management for us as well as for our clients.  It’s my responsibility to use technology to translate data into meaningful, easy to use information.”

Kris and his wife Ranjini, who also has a masters in computer science from the University of Massachusetts, reside in Parsippany, New Jersey.
