Scott Shearer

Scott founded TOTALogistix in 1991, and brings almost thirty years logistics experience to the company.  He got his start with Roadway Express in 1978.  Starting in operations, he was promoted to sales and moved from Deer Park, NY to Watertown, CT.  He soon was promoted to Branch Manager for Massachusetts. 

Scott was the inaugural winner of Roadway’s “President’s Ring of Honor”, representing the top one percent of sales growth nationally.  Soon after, Scott was promoted to Area Sales Manager in New York and New Jersey, where he managed 33 sales representatives and two Terminal Sales managers.

In 1988, he joined TOTAL Distribution Services, one of the first fifty transportation intermediaries in the US. From there he went on to start TOTALogistix, and the company has been growing and thriving ever since.

Scott is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and lives with his wife Alicia, an interior designer in Sparta, NJ.  They have three daughters, Jessica, Jaclynn and Rebecca.  He enjoys sports, travel and spending time with his friends and family.  He finds time because he only lives 1.7 miles from work.
